Today we reach the climax of the two stories we’ve been following all week, Tobit’s blindness while his son goes off to find a wife, and Jesus’s debates with the scribes. Both involve a reversal of fortunes for all involved, which is great news for Tobit, less so for the scribes trying to outwit Jesus.
