I hope you’re having a good, long weekend! Because of the extra family time, my next few posts will be a bit sporadic, but I wanted to give you a couple of quick updates.
A little over a month ago, I told you that Catholic Kids Media was, unfortunately, being attacked by the USCCB. Today, Isabella announced that they’ve reached an agreement.1
And in related news, a startup called Catholic Stories for Children reached out to me to help write their animated shorts. I’m working on a test episode right now, to see if we’re a good fit. Here’s one of their previous videos—
They’re a non-profit, by the way, so if you’re interested in supporting more entertainment options for Catholic children, you should take a look.
I’m still of the opinion that everything her channel does is fair use, and thus no deal is actually necessary, but it’s good that they have it straightened out.
